TruPotency talks about great products from Plant People

TruPotency's Director of Science, Austin Flohrschutz, recently talked about some of Plant People's products and why they have a great formulation. Check out the video and transcript below.

Hi, my name is Austin. I'm a neuroscientist and the Director of Science for TruPotency. We're an online multi-branded retailer and resource for CBD wellness. We don't make any of our own products, we scour the CBD market trying to find the highest quality products by using blind third-party testing. There are a lot of very bad CBD products out there, and through our testing we want to make available only those brands and products that are high-quality. Through this rigorous testing, one of our favorite brands at TruPotency that we found is Plant People.

So I'm going to talk to you a little bit today about some of the products, and why we really like some of these Plant People products.

So to start off with, we have the Stay Sharp Capsules. So, these Stay Sharp Capsules do have CBD in them but they also have a blend of other herbs and natural ingredients to form a nootropic formula.

So, nootropic basically means that you're enhancing your cognitive performance, whether this is memory and learning, focus and attention, or anything related to cognitive functioning.

So, along, like I said, along with CBD these have some natural ingredients that are very interesting, so, Bacopa Monnieri is a Ayurvedic herb that is thought to improve cognitive performance especially aging populations. And one interesting thing in here, is Celastrus Seed oil is actually an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor and we think that's important because a acetylcholine is important for learning and memory.

So, if we're increasing the amount of acetylcholine in your brain, we think that might actually be helping with learning and memory.

If you don't need focus, and you need to go to sleep, at night, we have these Sleep Drops as well from Plant People. So, along with CBD, there's other cannabinoids and terpenes that are very beneficial for sleep.

CBD might not actually be a sedative, but it might be able to help you sleep by reducing an over-active mind, overactive thoughts at night to keep you awake or potentially some soreness and aches that keep you up as well.

But, we do have the cannabinoid CBN in here to complement CBD, and we actually have some anecdotal evidence that suggest CBN is beneficial for sleep. It's an actual sedative, but on top of that, we have two terpenes: myrcene, and linalool. Myrcene is found in a lot of cannabis strains that associated with couch-lock and a sedative body feeling of relaxation, muscle relaxation, and linalool comes from lavender, and lavender essential oils which is associated with calmness, relaxation and sleep as well.

And the final product, I want to talk about that also has some really fun botanicals in it alongside CBD is this Revive Face Serum. It has this really beautiful emerald green color. So, you have this really, really pretty clear green botanical face serum and we like this because it does have a lot of other ingredients, like Yarrow Oil, Hemp Seed oil, we have Camellia Seed oil, Kalahari Melon oil.

And now you might think a lot of oil on your face is bad, but this is healthy oils and fats, like... Omega-3s, Omega-6s, Oleic acid, and because it is botanicals as well we have vitamins like A, C, and E. Vitamin A is actually synonymous with Retinol, which is a good facial skin care product. Vitamin C is thought to be a skin brightener and that vitamin E is another natural moisturizer and can also be good for skin health.

So, we at TruPotency really like a lot of Plant People's products, and this is just highlighting a few of the ones today but please check out the rest of Plant People's products on Trupotency.com. Thanks.
